Early Saturday morning (Sept 12, 2009)....getting ready for the Bear Lake Brawl triathlon. This is the part when you have mixed feelings of anxiety, nervousness, and excitement all at the same time. 
I can't decide if putting your wetsuit on is harder then the actual triathlon itself!!! (JK)
Having a little fun to get some of the nerves out. Oh, by the way... no laughing aloud. I know I'm making a real fashion statement with the whole wetsuit and pink swim cap!!! What can I say...

Finished the swim... now the challenge of getting the wetsuit off and on to the bike.
FINISH LINE!!!!! I was so excited to find out that out of 115 women who participated this year, I finished 8th overall and 4th in my age bracket. That just goes to show you my age bracket is full of diehards. (4 out of the top 8 were all in my age bracket). Go 30-34 year olds!!!

I've had a lot of fun this summer training and getting ready for these events. My sweet family has always been there to cheer me on and support me...even if it meant getting up way early to travel. It's been fun spending time with my sister as well. We've been able to do just about every event together and it has been so much fun!!!
