Halloween Fun!

It seems like Halloween just kinda snuck up on us this year. However, over the last few days we managed to fit a few things in. Monday, the kids helped decorate cookies, along with Aunt Jena. She even helped them make some Halloween t-shirts (sooo cute). Rylie made it back to school for the Halloween party. Both kids have been on the home bound program due to all the sickness going around. But I promised her I would take her. I guess I can only do my best to keep them well but I can't make them be little hermits either. Bryson, was going to go to his party but sure enough...like I mentioned in past post, when my kids know about fun events coming up, one always seems to get sick. He's done his best to be apart of the Halloween traditions, but had to take little breaks here and there to rest. We carved pumpkins Saturday morning....and leave it up to him and his dad to come up with a vomiting pumpkin...go figure. Rylie and I, on the other hand, ended up with a very cute princess pumpkin...crown and all. In fact, Rylie wanted her to have a thrown as well. So we lit up a chair to make that happen. The kids had fun trick or treating. Well, what they were able to do. Bryson made it down the road and around the corner before he was done. Energy level just wasn't there. Came home and spent the rest of the night with family, dinner, and movies...the perfect way to end the night!
